Qualifications

• 1-2 years direct MA experience or medical field work required.
• BLS certification preferred; CMA preferred.
• Education in lieu of degree not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document patient information.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Explain procedures and organize patient education materials.
• Answer phones, complete insurance forms, and coordinate with departments.
• Collect specimens and prepare them for testing; phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and check expiration dates.
• Provide immunizations as certified or supervised by a provider.
• Support quality initiatives and patient safety practices.
