Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, radiologic staff, and patients in a fast-paced urgent care center. You will handle patient intake, terms of visit, charting, and basic tests, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assisting program and High School diploma, with Basic Life Support and relevant MA certifications preferred. On-site position with incentive pay and a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
• BLS certification preferred at hire or obtained soon after.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and verify eligibility.
• Assist providers and radiology staff; prepare exam rooms.
• Perform point-of-care tests and document results.
• Maintain supplies and chart records.
• Answer calls and manage front desk communications.
