Requirements include a High School Diploma, completion of a Medical Assisting program, and BLS certification; advanced MA cert options are accepted or relevant hospital/urgent care experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required; Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire or obtained through ARC or AHA.
• Certification options listed (CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA) or equivalent hospital/urgent care experience.

Aufgaben

• Register and interview patients; verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Perform vital signs and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical records; assist with point-of-care testing.
• Support front desk operations and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Follow daily controls and maintain QA/QC logs for equipment.
