The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting clinical and front desk operations at Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care in Reston, VA. You will work closely with providers to deliver efficient, patient-centered care and manage duties from registration to procedures with accuracy and empathy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year Medical Assistant experience is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained at time of hire (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.
• Prepare patients by obtaining medical history and documenting in the medical record.
