Job summary

The GoHealth Urgent Care team in Northern Virginia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and front desk operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will register patients, collect demographics, measure vital signs, perform point-of-care tests, draw blood, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure an efficient patient flow.

• Minimum of 1 year Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing and report results.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
