Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR seeks experienced Medical Assistants or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role supports clinical and administrative tasks, including patient prep, vitals, and provider assist.

The schedule is full-time with rotating 36–40 hour weeks (12-hour weekday shifts and some weekends); PRN per diem opportunities are available. A high school diploma, BLS, and MA certification are preferred, with a willingness to pursue AR Limited X-Ray

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain AR Limited X-Ray License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly when entering waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times to patients and guide them to the next step in treatment.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent/hazardous situations.
• Make follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.
• Assist front desk with patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
• Record and document patient vitals, weight, brief history, medications, allergies, and other history.
• Assist with patient transfers as needed.
• Assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation of visits.
