Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Medical Assistant Front/Back Float to support urgent care clinics in Irvine, CA. This per diem role covers front office duties and acts as a clinical support for the care team, including patient data collection and treatment plan components as directed by Providers.

One year of ambulatory care experience is required; an Accredited MA program certificate is required, with phlebotomy certification preferred and BLS mandatory.

Qualifications

• One year of medical office/clinical experience in ambulatory care required, urgent care experience preferred.
• Certification from Accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Handle front office duties and support clinical care team as needed.
• Assist in data collection for patient assessment and implement orders per Provider.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff; maintain organization and follow-through.
• Maintain punctuality and adherence to policies and schedules.
