KerixHealth is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will work closely with physicians and mid‑level clinicians to provide patient‑centered care from intake to discharge.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant program credential or equivalent experience, at least 1 year in urgent care or primary care settings, and familiarity with EMR

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in urgent care or related setting preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pace.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, verify identity, obtain medical histories, and prepare for examination.
• Record vital signs and other clinical measurements.
• Assist clinicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations per orders.
• Perform venipuncture and point‑of‑care testing.
• Document care and orders in the EHR and coordinate referrals.
