Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and front office tasks in Chandler, AZ. You will assist providers with exams, manage preliminary patient care, and perform procedures such as blood draws and wound care.

The role requires completed MA training and relevant certifications; payroll benefits include health options and paid time off. This position is full-time and onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved MA training program.
• If non-accredited program, national MA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams, including vitals, and direct patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for tests.
• May perform splinting, casting, and sports physicals.
• Provide wound care, ear lavage, and oxygen administration as needed.
• Notify provider of unusual events and safety concerns.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR; support front office reception as needed.
