Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant (Full-Time) in Marsh Landing, Florida. You will assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient flow, including triage, vitals, phlebotomy, immunizations, and room setup.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist, or another relevant program; or active RMA/CMA designation; or 6 months MA experience; or licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience; or 1 year phlebotomy-focused work experience.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, taking vitals, and recording information in charts.
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab work completion.
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Setting up procedures as instructed by the provider.
• Preparing treatment rooms and guiding patients from waiting room to exam rooms.
• Checking patients in/out, verifying insurance, and collecting payments.
