Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures, and patient care across our Florida locations. Responsibilities include triaging patients, measuring vitals, venipuncture, and assisting with procedures while ensuring smooth patient flow from check-in to discharge.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant program, or EMT/Paramedic/Radiologic Technologist training, or an active RMA/CMA certification, or 6 months MA experience; CNA with phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Radiologic Technologist, or other relevant program; or active RMA/CMA designation; or 6 months MA experience in a relevant environment; or licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, measuring vitals, and recording information on patients’ charts.
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection, and completion of lab work.
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Setting up procedures as instructed by provider.
• Preparing treatment rooms for examinations and bringing patients from the waiting room to exam rooms.
• Checking patients in and out; verifying insurance; collecting payments.
