Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Florida is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures, and patient flow, including triage, vital signs, venipuncture, and room setup, with emphasis on compassionate, efficient care.

The role requires completion of MA program or equivalent, CPR/BLS, with prior ambulatory clinic experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from MA/EMT/Paramedic or CMA/RMA designation or 6 months MA experience.
• CNA with phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy cert + 6 months experience.
• 1 year of work where phlebotomy was primary function; healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients, taking vitals and recording data in charts.
• Blood draws, venipuncture, specimen collection and lab work completion.
• Administering medications and immunizations under provider direction.
• Setting up procedures as instructed by provider and prepping treatment rooms.
• Checking in/out patients, verifying insurance and collecting payments.
