Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting in Maine. The role involves patient interaction, triage, vital signs, EHR documentation, and assisting with medications under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant certification or 1–2 years of MA experience, and BLS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Experity are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required (not CPR/ACLS online).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn Experity and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions, treatments and medications.
• Support clinical operations: triage patients, record vitals, histories, phlebotomy, assist procedures.
• Administer medications under supervision following state regulations.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist with discharge planning and training of new staff.
