Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and support clinicians in a fast-paced clinic. You will engage with patients, explain medications, perform vital signs, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures, while maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, MA certification or equivalent experience, and BLS certification. The position supports multiple ConvenientMD locations with flexible shift availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of MA experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR/ACLS online only not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients and provide information on health conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Support clinical operations by taking vital signs, obtaining histories, phlebotomy, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Document patient data in EHRs in compliance with privacy regulations.
