Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for our Urgent Care Clinic. You will participate in patient care under provider guidance, maintain supplies, and communicate with the healthcare team.

The role serves pediatric to geriatric patients with a focus on quality care and balanced work life. We offer a supportive, team-based environment with scheduling that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• New grads encouraged to apply!
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or obtain within six months
• MA: CMA/RMA preferred; externship proof required if non-certified
• LPN: Minnesota licensure required
• One year of clinical practice preferred
• Electronic medical record experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms before patient visits.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs and measurements.
• Prepare, administer and record medications per policy.
• Monitor provider orders to ensure completion.
• Communicate pertinent information to providers and healthcare team.
