Northfield Hospital + Clinics in Northfield, MN seeks a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for the Urgent Care Clinic. Join a team delivering patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations, with a 0.75–1.0 FTE schedule and rotating shifts between 8:00am–8:00pm.

• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within six months of hire)
• MA: CMA or RMA preferred; non-certified applicants must have graduated from an accredited school with an externship and provide proof of completion
• LPN: LPN licensure with the State of Minnesota
• One year of clinical practice experience preferred
• Electronic medical record experience preferred

Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) position participates in the delivery of patient care within the guidelines and policies of Northfield Hospital +Clinics. Carries out patient care tasks as directed by providers and nurses, maintains supplies and equipment, and accurately communicates with patients and all members of the healthcare team. This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Compensation

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, educationand internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is: Medical Assistant$21.08-$29.76; LPN$22.80-$32.18.This range reflects the base rate for this position.

Key Accountabilities

Schedule

62hours per two-week pay period(0.78 FTE)

6-week block schedule rotating every other weekend

Varying hours between8:00am – 8:00pm

Rotate minor holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve), closed on major holidays (Easter, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day)

Eligible for Shift Differential Pay in addition to base wage
