Job summary

HonorHealth in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front and back-office support in the Urgent Care-Glendale-West Bell Rd location. Responsibilities include guiding patients, preparing rooms, and assisting clinicians during exams.

The role requires 6 months of MA experience (preferred), BLS certification, and a Fingerprint Clearance Card. The clinic offers a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and opportunities to support other Urgent Care clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an MA training program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required per policy.
• CMA preferred; certification reimbursed if obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock treatment rooms and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and basic on-site testing as directed.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments and manage front-office workflows.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and referrals as needed.
