Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care seeks a Medical Assistant / Medical Front Office in Goodyear, AZ. The role includes patient care in the back office and front desk duties, with emphasis on teamwork in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will assist providers with exams and vitals, perform blood draws, urine collection, and ensure EMR/EHR proficiency while upholding safety and accreditation policies. Full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• OR completed an unapproved MA program plus national certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA).

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws as directed.
• Collect urine samples for testing and drug screens.
• Support front office reception when needed.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR and maintain clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with lab and accreditation policies.
