Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions in Austin, TX, seeks an Urgent Care LVN for a contracted, temporary role (~19 weeks) in a fast-paced clinic. The position is on-site with a 35-hour workweek, typically 7–10 hour shifts, and 2–3 weekdays plus alternating weekends and some holidays.

You will assess patients, document in the EMR, administer treatments, assist with vaccines, perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, monitor vitals, educate patients, and help maintain a organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license in good standing.
• BLS certification valid beyond start date.
• 1+ year healthcare experience.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems, Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document findings in the EMR.
• Administer treatments and medications as appropriate (oral, injectable, topical, etc.).
• Perform/assist with vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.

Urgent Care LVN Location: Austin, TX (On-site) Job Type: Contract / Temporary (approx. 19 weeks) Schedule: ~35 hours/week (65 hours per bi-weekly pay period). Shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours; schedules are built in 6-week blocks after training. Expect 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend, and some major holidays.

Seeking an Urgent Care LVN to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is a patient-facing role requiring strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and comfort working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

• Perform/assist with vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
• Monitor vital signs, identify abnormalities, and document responses to care

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license (must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• If using a compact license, it must be issued in your primary state of residence
• BLS certification (expiration must be at least 30+ days beyond the anticipated start date)
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER (candidates with experience limited to long-term care environments may not be a fit)
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred)
