Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking an Urgent Care LPN to support a busy clinic in Minneapolis, MN. The role is contract/temporary, part-time (~20 hrs/week) with training and 6-week scheduling blocks.

Responsibilities include patient intake, medication administration, vitals monitoring, phlebotomy, vaccines, and EMR documentation. Prior urgent care or primary care experience is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification valid through start date + 30 days.
• 1+ year healthcare experience; acute/urgent care preferred.

Urgent Care LPN Location: Minneapolis, MN (on-site, patient-facing) Job Type: Contract / Temporary Schedule: Part-time (~20 hrs/week). Shifts are typically 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours, with weekdays + every other weekend (some major holidays may be required). Training/orientation is approximately 3 weeks, then schedules are built in 6-week blocks.

Position Summary

We’re seeking an Urgent Care LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) / LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) to support a busy clinical environment by delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care. You’ll assess patients, administer treatments/medications, document thoroughly in the EMR, and collaborate with the care team to support strong patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake and routine clinical assessments
• Administer medications (oral/injectable/topical and as applicable per clinic protocols)
• Monitor vital signs and document findings and responses to treatment
• Support phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Document patient histories, care provided, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Epic preferred)
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (must be in good standing)
• BLS (must be valid through at least 30+ days beyond start date)
• At least 1 year of related healthcare experience
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Note: candidates with experience limited only to long-term care (LTC/SNF/home health/LTAC) may not be the right fit for this clinic environment.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable working in an EMR (Epic preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
