Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license in good standing
• BLS certification with expiration beyond start date
• 1+ year clinical experience in Urgent Care/Primary Care/ER
• Experience with phlebotomy and vaccines
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments (oral, injectable, IV, topical)
• Monitor vitals and document care in EMR
• Conduct routine clinical assessments and point-of-care services
• Review medications for interactions and side effects
• Document patient histories in EMR and maintain clinic organization

Urgent Care LVN Location: Pflugerville, TX (On-site) Pay: $37.17/hour Job Type: Contract / Temporary (approx. 19 weeks) Schedule: ~35 hours/week (65 hours bi-weekly). Shifts are typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours. Schedule is built in 6-week blocks after ~3 weeks of training/orientation. Expected to work 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend, and some major holidays.

Position Summary

Seeking an Urgent Care LVN to support a fast-paced clinic environment. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care, administer medications/treatments, document in the EMR, and collaborate with the broader clinical team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications as applicable
• Assess patients, monitor vitals, and document care and responses to treatment
• Perform routine clinical assessments and support point-of-care services
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects/interactions
• Accurately capture patient histories and chart in electronic medical records
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license (compact licenses must be issued in the primary state of residence; license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• BLS certification (expiration must be at least 30+ days beyond the start date)
• 1+ year related clinical experience
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Note: candidates with experience limited to long-term care settings may have difficulty transitioning to a clinic environment
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfort with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
