A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking an Urgent Care Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract position in San Antonio, TX. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic, administer medications, document in EMR, and support the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role is on-site, about 35 hours per week, for approximately 19 weeks, with coverage including Schertz, TX. Active LVN license, BLS, and 1+ year urgent care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN license (Compact licenses must be issued in your primary state of residence; license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• BLS certification (expiration must be ≥ 30 days past the start date)
• 1+ year related experience in a healthcare setting
• Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER experience required
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Verifiable High School Diploma/GED

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications (as applicable per scope)
• Perform routine assessments and monitor vital signs; identify abnormalities
• Support phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Accurately document medical history and care in electronic medical records
• Provide patient education and coordinate community resources as needed
• Maintain an organized, clean, well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

Schedule Notes

Schedules are built in 6-week blocks following 3 weeks of training/orientation Shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours Typical week: 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend Includes some major holidays
