Job summary

ConvenientMD in Sanford, Maine, seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. The role involves triage, testing, wound care, immunizations, medication administration, and EMR documentation, all while supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.

You’ll collaborate with providers, assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth clinic operations. A Maine LPN license with IV experience and BLS are required; a $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State LPN license with IV experience; IV certification for ME/NH.
• BLS certification required; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and team-oriented.
• Proactive communicator; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients by taking vital signs and documenting history.
• Assist with exams and support providers during testing and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipids, urinalysis).
• Provide ECGs, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
• Wound care, immunizations, and medication administration as required.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and report changes in patient conditions.
• Support clinic operations and ensure sterile, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with clinical team to coordinate patient care.
