Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team in Augusta, Maine. You will provide high-quality patient care, assist providers, and help maintain a collaborative clinical environment.

Requirements include an LPN license, IV placement/monitoring experience (Maine/NH IV certified), and BLS. Flexibility for varied shifts, travel to nearby ConvenientMD locations, and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• State-licensed LPN with IV placement and monitoring experience; Maine/NH IV certified.
• BLS certification required; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient triage by taking vitals, documenting history, and identifying immediate needs.
• Assist with exams and testing; prepare equipment and documentation.
• Perform testing: strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipids, urinalysis.
• Provide ECGs, AED use, nebulizer care, and oxygen administration.
• Deliver wound care, immunizations, and medication administration per regulations.
• Maintain electronic medical records and report changes in patient condition.
• Ensure instruments are clean and workspace sterile; support clinic operations.
• Collaborate with clinical team and train new members.
