Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team in Augusta, Maine. You will provide high-quality patient care, triage, administer medications, perform point-of-care testing, and support providers in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires an active LPN license, BLS, and experience with IV placement or monitoring; willingness to travel between ConvenientMD locations and cover flexible 12-hour shifts. Join us to contribute to accessible, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license with prior IV experience.
• Both ME/NH require IV certification.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and triage, including vital signs documentation.
• Assist physicians during exams, testing and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and wound care as directed.
• Document patient histories and treatment details in EMR.
• Administer medications and immunizations per regulations.
• Support clinic operations and maintain sterile workspace.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure coordinated care.
