ExperCARE Urgent Care is seeking a Lab Tech/Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will provide hands-on clinical and laboratory support, assist providers with patient care, perform in-house testing, and maintain equipment to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate or relevant lab technician training.
• Experience in a clinical, urgent care, or medical office setting.
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Perform routine in-house laboratory testing including CLIA-waived tests, urinalysis, rapid tests, and specimen collection.
• Prepare, label, and process biological specimens for in-house testing or reference lab submission.
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and test results accurately in the EHR.
• Assist providers with procedures such as wound care, splinting, injections, and point-of-care testing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical teammates to support patient care and workflow.
