Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments per protocols.
• Document quality control activities and device calibration.
• Communicate lab results to clinical team and document data in LIS system.
• Prepare specimens and perform moderately complex laboratory tests with automated equipment.
• Maintain continuing training and competency; participate in CAP proficiency testing.
• Assist with patient care duties, vitals, phlebotomy and transport as needed.
• Maintain supplies and clean equipment; ensure exam rooms are ready for next patient.
