Job summary

CHKD Medical Group's Loehmann's Plaza - Health Center and Urgent Care seeks a Lab Systems Facilitator for Urgent Care. You will support laboratory services with specimen procurement, data entry, and inventory management, reporting to department leadership.

Under supervision, you will collect and process specimens, perform waived tests, and provide clerical support while coordinating with other centers as needed in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated phlebotomy skills and medical terminology knowledge.
• Basic computer skills for patient demographics and test entry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Order, process, and dispose of specimens.
• Collect and document vital signs.
• Perform kit/waived testing (Flu and Rapid Strep).
• Inventory management responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Provide clerical support and answer phones.
• Travel to other centers as assigned.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Support Urgent Care clinic when not performing laboratory duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
