Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care - Holiday Road Urgent Care is seeking a Clerk III (24-36 hours) to provide front desk reception, check-in/check-out, and scheduling for a high-volume patient flow. The role requires multitasking and the ability to handle multi-line phones for external and internal customers.

Responsibilities include gathering demographic data in EPIC, collecting provider information, and performing name searches.

Qualifications

• Public contact / customer service experience.
• Two years of full-time equivalent clerical work or related education/training.

Responsibilities

• Gathers demographic data and enters into EPIC.
• Collects referring entity and provider information into EPIC.
• Performs name search procedures as per policy.
• Responds to calls and assists patients and staff at Scheduling desk.
• Maintains communication with divisions; performs miscellaneous clerical duties.
