Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Brewton, AL is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to lead care in a high-volume urgent care setting. You will provide broad scope services, including pediatrics and geriatric care, with telemedicine support and on-site orientation for rapid onboarding.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating patients in urgent care setting
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing and splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
• General Dermatology and eye care
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
