MainStreet Family Care in Sylacauga, Alabama is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to lead a small team in a high-volume urgent care setting. The role offers complete scope of practice, ongoing training, and support including telemedicine and occupational medicine services.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner required
• MSN or higher degree required
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (company covers cost)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for patients within scope of practice in urgent care
• Diagnose and treat illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, COVID and URIs
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal)
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review X-rays with radiologist over-read
• Provide telemedicine services
