Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Monroeville, AL is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-focused urgent and primary care in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic. You’ll lead a small team and participate in on-site orientation and ongoing training after launch, with support including a pediatric urgent care CE course and on-call NP guidance.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly!)
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (we cover the cost)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
