Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated EMT-B to join our urgent care team across New England. You will deliver high-quality patient care, perform triage, vital signs, and basic procedures while documenting in EHRs and supporting the clinical team.

Required are an EMT-B certification (MA licensure), BLS certification, and strong patient-focused communication. This on-site role offers 12-hour shifts, travel to multiple ConvenientMD locations within 1 hour, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• National EMT certification and MA licensure with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Proven caring, patient-focused with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions and treatments.
• Explain medications, dosages, and potential adverse reactions, and offer lifestyle guidance.
• Perform triage, take vital signs, obtain histories, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in EHRs and support the clinical team.
• Collaborate with providers on discharge plans and assist with training new team members.
