You will explain medications, provide lifestyle guidance, document in EHRs, and collaborate with providers to ensure coordinated discharge planning. This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally certified and licensed EMT with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• BLS certification required by AHA or Red Cross (CPR/ACLS online not accepted).
• Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused.
• Proactive and confident communicator.
• Trustworthy with HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Excellent team player and collaborative.
• Tech-savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn Experity.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and determine urgency; conduct preliminary evaluations.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications, dosage, potential adverse reactions; provide lifestyle and follow-up guidance.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical team and providers; assist with discharge planning and training new staff.
