Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking an EMT-B to join our urgent care team in New England. You will engage with patients, perform basic clinical tasks, and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality care. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to a busy urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates are National EMT-B certified with BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Travel between ConvenientMD locations within 1 hour may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National EMT-B certification and active licensure required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Perform basic clinical tasks: triage, vital signs, medical history, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information in EHRs, ensuring HIPAA-compliant privacy and accuracy.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to coordinate discharge plans and training for new team members.
