Job summary

Qualifications

• Record patients' medical history and vital statistics.
• Measure vital signs: BP, pulse ox, height, weight, etc.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens for testing.
• Provide prescription and drug information to pharmacies.
• Explain treatment procedures and physician instructions to patients.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clean exam rooms.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with office duties.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, perform clinical duties within MA scope.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to provider.
• Assist in patient exam setup and documentation.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient care as needed.
