Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Urgent Care location in Midlothian. The role supports physicians with patient assessments, vitals, injections, and lab procedures while documenting care plans in the medical record.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and CMA certification from a recognized body. Training is provided to ensure safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient interactions within a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Record patients' medical history and vital statistics.
• Interview patients to obtain information and measure vitals.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Explain treatment procedures and instructions to patients.
• Documentation of patient information in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Understands legal responsibilities of Medical Assistant.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to provider.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers.
• Travel to other facilities as needed for patient care.
• Maintain clinical and administrative competency.
