Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Urgent Care – Regency. The role focuses on indirect/direct patient care under a provider, collecting vitals, and assisting with exams in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and completion of an MA program; active CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA or ABR‑OE are acceptable credentials where required. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary program preferred.
• Active MA certification from CMA/RCM/CCMA/NCMA or ABR-OE acceptable in some states.
• BLS/ACLS as required for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Record patient data, vital signs and medical history in records.
• Interview patients and measure vitals (BP, pulse, oximetry, height, weight, temp).
• Prepare and administer medications per physician instructions.
• Assist in examinations and support care under provider supervision.
• Maintain supplies, sterilize instruments and handle routine lab tasks.
