Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care seeks talented Advanced Practice Providers (PA/NP) to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You will work with center physicians to evaluate and treat patients, ensuring compassionate service and efficient care delivery.

This role requires SC licensure as FNP or PA, DEA registration, BLS, and preferably Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience. On-site schedule emphasizes 30–36 hours for full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid FNP-C/FA or PA-C license per SC requirements.
• Active DEA registration.
• Experience with suturing and drainage procedures.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children in cooperation with center physicians.
• Deliver service with high patient satisfaction and courtesy standards at Prisma Health Urgent Care.
• Provide patient care in compliance with policies and procedures and maintain records.
• Serve as a resource for patient, family, and staff; ensure proper documentation and communication for reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations.
