UCHealth Medical Group in Fort Collins, CO invites applicants for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team as a full-time (0.83 FTE) provider. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with support from a physician-led group.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of urgent care or ER experience, holds an PA-C or NP license, and can obtain prescriptive authority. This position offers strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• PA: Master's in Physician Assistant Studies and NY license or eligibility.
• NP: Master's in Nursing with NP certification and license eligibility.
• Prescriptive authority in state of practice required

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessments in urgent care/ER.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Provide direct treatment and management with prescriptive authority or referrals.
• Counsel patients and families on prevention and care options.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
