Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for the Urgent Care at UH Samaritan Medical Center. The APP will provide high-quality patient care, participate in care pathways, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• An Advanced Practice Provider with experience in urgent care, family medicine, primary care or emergency department.
• Must hold an Ohio license to practice as an APP.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per care paths and standards.
• Collaborates with other providers in an interdisciplinary team approach.
• Contributes to staff and patient education and professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies.
