UNC Health urgent care clinics in Wake County, North Carolina, seek qualified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join a fast-paced, shift-based team. Positions are full-time, onsite, with a 40-hour work week and variable scheduling across multiple Wake County locations.

Ideal candidates have accredited PA or NP programs, NC licensure or eligibility, and experience in acute/urgent care settings. Comprehensive benefits and paid malpractice are provided.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.

Responsabilidades

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have openings for Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) OR Nurse Practitioners (NP) at multiple locations in Wake County, North Carolina. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses and minor injuries. Employed positions with UNCHMG are a shift-based model. Our provider team staffs our 8 UNCHMG Wake County based UNC Urgent Care clinics. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based with a reservation and wait time system. We look forward to reviewing your application today!

Ideal Candidate:

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• EPIC - EMR Clinic

Schedule:

• 8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
• Plus, weekends & holidays
• Flexible, Shift-Based Fulltime Schedule
• Location: Multiple Locations - Wake County
