Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a board certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the San Juan clinic as a full-time provider. The role is outpatient-focused, with no hospital rounds or ER call, and offers flexible hours and a supportive team.

Ideal candidates will hold Texas medical licensure and DEA, be comfortable treating patients from 3 months of age, and perform procedures such as I&Ds and suturing as part of comprehensive urgent care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
• Comfortable seeing patients aged 3 months and up.
• Must hold Texas medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays.
• Skill in procedures for acute illnesses or injuries (I&Ds, suturing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urgent care services at the San Juan clinic.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform procedures such as I&Ds and suturing as needed.
