Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care in San Antonio, TX seeks a PRN, board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to float among clinic locations in San Antonio, TX.

Must hold Texas licensure and DEA, be able to work independently, and perform urgent care procedures including first reads on x-rays for both pediatric and adult patients.

Qualifications

• PRN requirements: 4 weekend day shifts per month.
• Comfortable seeing patients aged 3 months and up.
• Ability to work independently.
• Board certified.
• Texas state medical licensure and DEA required.
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays.
• Capability to perform patient treatment procedures for acute illnesses/injuries (peds and adults); I&Ds; suturing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Float among CareNow Urgent Care locations in San Antonio, TX.
• Provide urgent care services to patients across age groups.
• Perform common urgent care procedures and imaging reads as needed.
