Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a full-time board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner for the Culebra clinic location.

Candidate must be comfortable seeing patients from three months old, able to work independently, hold Texas licensure with DEA, and perform common urgent care procedures including I&Ds and suturing for both pediatric and adult patients. This is outpatient care with no hospital rounds.

Qualifications

• Board certified
• Texas state medical licensure and DEA
• Comfortable seeing ages three months and up
• Ability to work independently
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries, including pediatric and adult care (I&Ds; suturing)

Responsibilities

• This position focuses on outpatient urgent care duties at the Culebra clinic.
• CareNow Urgent Care emphasizes independent practice within a physician-led team.
