Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care in San Antonio's Wurzbach clinic is seeking a part-time, board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our after-hours team from 10pm to 8am.

Qualified candidates will be comfortable seeing patients ages three months and up, able to work independently, and have Texas state medical licensure with DEA. Outpatient only with no hospital rounds or ER call, offering a comprehensive benefits package and PTO for CME.

Qualifications

• Part-Time schedule ~2 shifts per week (10pm–8am) with rotating weekends.
• Board certified
• Texas state medical licensure and DEA required
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays
• Procedural skills for acute illnesses/injuries including pediatric and adult care (I&Ds; suturing)
