Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to work in our Dallas (North, Central, South) urgent care locations. Candidates must be able to see patients aged 3 months and older, work independently, hold Texas licensure and a DEA, and perform procedures for acute illnesses or injuries including I&Ds and suturing.

Outpatient only with no hospital rounds. Flexible hours and comprehensive benefits accompany competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners
• Ability to treat patients from 3 months of age and up
• Texas state medical licensure and DEA required
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to perform procedures for acute illnesses or injuries (I&Ds, suturing)
• Experience in urgent care settings is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to pediatric and adult patients
• Perform procedures for acute injuries/illnesses
• Read and interpret X-rays (initial reads)
• Deliver high-quality patient care in outpatient settings
• Collaborate with medical staff and follow CareNow protocols
