Job summary

Mercy Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or FNP) to join our Asheville team. The role delivers high-quality care for non-life-threatening conditions, serving Buncombe County and Western North Carolina communities.

We offer competitive compensation between $120,000 and $150,000 annually, with RVU incentives and comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with flexible schedules and strong professional development support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active North Carolina PA or FNP license.
• Current BLS or ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset.
• Valid NC driver's license and robust computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages and genders with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, I&D) and order/interpret tests.
• Conduct health exams, take histories, and document progress notes.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care for continuity.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure high-quality service and clinic operations.

How You'll Contribute:

• Work closely with a collaborate care team to ensure high-quality care and smooth clinic operations
