Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, NC is seeking a production assembler to support unit targets by following processes and working on the shop floor. You will assemble products using hand tools and read technical diagrams to ensure proper assembly of systems and panels.

Responsibilities include performing manual assembly, conducting quality tests, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in accordance with SOPs. Legal work authorization in the US is required; this is an onsite role with lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Familiarity with tape measure, calipers, grinders and other hand tools.
• Onsite work at the Pinetops, NC facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/panels.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools on the shop floor.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of the production process.
• Maintain a clean work area and operate within SOPs.
