Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, NC is seeking a Production Worker to join the assembly team on site. You will read diagrams, assemble products and perform packing along production lines while following SOPs and maintaining a clean work area. Regular quality testing is part of the role.

You'll work with hand tools and light machinery, lift up to 40 lbs, and use measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Safety PPE is required, and you will contribute to meeting production targets in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders) as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to safely use ladders when performing the job.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products/systems/panels and perform packing on production lines.
• Carry out manual work or with light hand tools.
• Conduct regular quality testing as part of the production process.
• Operate within SOPs and maintain a clean work area.
• Support achieving production targets by following defined processes.
